rMASTIF Traffic Sign Classification Dataset

This page provides the rMASTIF traffic sign classification dataset of Croatian signs. This dataset was prepared by revising the datasets collected during the research project MASTIF (MASTIF datasets). The dataset may be freely used in academic research.

There are 4044 traffic sign examples in train and 1784 in test set, from 31 classes. Each class has at least 12 tracks and each track has 4 examples, representing 1457 different physical signs. Train and test set consist of images in .ppm format and are organized in folders named after their respective classes. Each folder contains all train or test images belonging to that class, as well as a .csv file detailing one image per line in the form:
"Filename;Width;Height;ROI.X1;ROI.Y1;ROI.X2;ROI.Y2;ClassId"
(this is the same annotation format as used in the GTSRB and BTSC datasets).

ROI-s are tightly fitted to physical traffic signs, and each sample image has an additional margin of ~10% pixels in each direction from the ROI.
