Short biography
Domagoj Jakobovic received is a full professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb. His research interests include evolutionary algorithms, optimization methods, machine learning and parallel algorithms. Most notable contributions are in the area of machine supported scheduling, generating scheduling heuristics with genetic programming, optimization problems in cryptography and security, parallelization and improvement of evolutionary algorithms. He has published more than 120 papers, lead several research projects and served as a reviewer and PC member for many international journals and conferences. He has supervised seven doctoral theses and more than 170 bachelor and master theses.
