Introduction

Virtual environments are finding more and more applications in computer graphics. Virtual scenes are used in computer games, flight simulators and many more.
In early stages of computer graphics scenes contained static objects or objects with predefined behaviour. Today the scenes include objects which respond to user input and interact with the user. The newest trend is interactive scene management. Scene content is managed by a specialized person like a therapist or an instructor. Meanwhile the patient is in the scene and interacts with the objects and environment.
Interactive scene management could help improve some of these appclications, such as Virtual Reality Exposure Therapy applications.
